It all started with a single photo of a daisy I took in my grandmother's garden when I was young.<\/p>\n
A few years later I decided to paint it, and thus my first almost realistic painting of a flower was created.<\/p>\n
Since then, several other paintings have been created capturing the beauty of flowers. A custom reversed daisy, paintings of poppies for charity, and countless other artwork loosely inspired by nature.<\/p>\n
And that brings me to this magical flower that is associated with the sun. So much so that it has it in its name.<\/p>\n
Flower of the Sun makes me feel peaceful and reminds me of calm and warm summer evenings with the last rays of the sun. I am sitting somewhere in nature and feel the fresh breeze of the surrounding forests.
