What is money? How do you feel about money? How do you relate to it? Have you ever talked to it? Does it want to tell you something?

I didn't think much about these things when I was younger. Then I learned in books that it might be a good idea to look at my relationship with the energy of money by writing a letter. I've written a few over the years and each time I felt a shift. It also showed me how erratic my behavior was towards it.

Then one night I saw an Instagram story by Domè Moon (@dome_moon_art) who shared how it helped her to visualize the energy of money as someone she has a close relationship with. It made her see the dynamics of her relationship with it even more clearly, and it was something that helped her the most.

I remembered this story while I was in the middle of writing another letter. I wrote my desire to speak to money directly, then got the idea to put the letter down, and went to lie down for a while. I wanted to try to connect with it. What happened next was astounding.

Money came. It appeared in front of me in a woman's body and said something I really didn't expect.

I imagined she would be bitter or angry after all the years I hated it, felt all kinds of negative emotions about it, and felt like I constantly needed it in my life and didn't want to let it go. Then there are very popular beliefs like money is evil, dirty, etc.

And yet she was there. Completely different. And with all the love she said to me:

"I'm here for you, always.

I don't need anything from you. All I want is for you to be happy. That's what I want.

So that you can grow and fulfill your dreams.”

I really didn't expect that. If money itself wants me to have more money, what else could be holding me back but my own sense of unworthiness?

I remember this moment very clearly as if it were yesterday. After talking to them directly, it really made me rethink my whole life and all the beliefs I had about money.
