MY STORY

Paintings of my life

From a young age I was very withdrawn and had no self-confidence. I was afraid of people and struggled to express myself.

My journey of self-development began with the book The Power of Now, which opened my eyes at 16 and for the first time I was able to separate myself from my thoughts. I realized that what was going through my head might not be true at all.

Around 2016 I started painting my first abstract works, which helped me express my inner feelings. Gradually I began overcoming my fear and started painting about specific themes from my life.

I drew on symbolism and visions that came to me on a given theme, and translated them onto canvas. I also started writing my own stories and realizations alongside the paintings, things that helped me move forward. I realized I wasn't the only one dealing with certain things in life, and that my painting could help someone else too.

At the time I was already working in a factory, where I often felt like a soulless robot doing the same thing every day. I used to hear my soul crying, and I couldn't sleep at night while I wondered whether a life like that even made sense for me.

In 2017, my first solo exhibition took place in my hometown of Ústí nad Orlicí.

I also had other joint exhibitions with other artists around the area during this time.

One of them still scares me to this day. Okay, I'm exaggerating a bit.

Anyway, someone at this group exhibition came up with the idea that every artist would say something about their work. When it was my turn, I completely froze and couldn't get a single word out. A lot of people were looking at me while I just stood there awkwardly...
In 2019, my first international successes appeared.

My paintings have been exhibited in Milan and Madrid thanks to a collaboration with a Spanish gallery, and that same year I received an Honorable Mention in the worldwide Art Olympia 2019 competition.

In 2020, I began participating in international group exhibitions in Prague at the U Zlatého kohouta gallery.

This is also related to a charity event to support war veterans, for which each of us painted a painting on the theme of poppies, which was later auctioned off and all proceeds were used for a good cause.

Over the years, my passion for learning has deepened, I have done a lot of deep work on myself, and through several other books and various courses, I have discovered that there is a way I can make a change.

The new hope allowed me to create a vision of a better life, and I began to experience success thanks to the change in my inner attitudes. My paintings started to sell more and I believed that I could live without the security of an income in a job that was killing me.

That's what finally happened. After six years, I left the factory and started working freelance.

This period was very difficult for me. Enormous uncertainty in every area of my life forced me to start trusting, without limits, that a higher power was guiding me in the right direction. But I also had plenty of space to look my fears and shadows in the eye and work through them. It was during covid, when I spent whole days shut in alone at home, meditating, resting, and painting.

Everything changed when I met my partner, moved, and started a new chapter of my life.

In 2023 I held an exhibition in a nearby café in Brandýs nad Labem. This time, though, I walked the audience through the paintings on display and my own story. Despite the nerves, it all came together, and the opening received very good feedback.

These days I don't paint as much anymore, because I've found something that fulfills me even more. I've started building websites. Besides, I don't really have anywhere left to put more paintings right now. First I want to make room for new work and finish the pieces that are already in progress.

I want to support you, because without hope and support, I wouldn't be here myself.

Each painting tells its own story or feeling. I've followed the artist's journey from the beginning to today, and I really like the direction he's taken lately – combining abstraction with realism. This style captures the idea behind a piece more clearly than pure abstraction. But the artist's abstract paintings have their own charm too; everyone sees a slightly different feeling or intent in them.
About 7 of his works decorate my home, both abstract and more realistic, and they're all beautiful. Even after years, they haven't lost their charm or the vividness of their colors.

What is the return and refund policy?

You're entitled to return the item within 14 days of delivery. If you have any issue with quality or delivery, please get in touch with me. I'll do everything I can to resolve it quickly and effectively. If the product is damaged or doesn't meet your expectations, we can arrange a return or exchange.

How is the artwork being transported?

The shipping price is determined based on your address:

- if you're in the Czech Republic or Slovakia, shipping is free,
- within the EU, shipping is a flat rate of 900 CZK,
- outside Europe (e.g. the USA or Asia), the flat rate is 2200 CZK.

How long shipping takes really depends on your situation. I ship pieces from the Czech Republic within two days, and after that it mostly depends on your location. If you'd like to arrange shipping individually, please send me a message and we'll figure something out together.

Is there a possibility of personal collection?

Yes, and I'd love to meet you.
If there's a chance, we could arrange for me to bring the painting to you in person. :)

Can I see your paintings in person first?

Yes. If you're not far away, you can stop by my place or come check out another exhibition.

I want a painting just for me. What does such a collaboration look like?

If you are interested in a custom painting, just write and we will work out the rest together.

I like to create artworks that have meaning and support others in their lives. That's why I would like to meet with you to get to know you. You can tell me what the painting should support you in and what it should express. We'll work out the details and then I'll start creating.

Where do you get inspiration for your work?

My inspiration is life itself and especially the obstacles it throws at me. They are challenges that allow me to get to know myself. Paintings are often born through self-reflection. They are stories of knowledge and answers that I have come to. In those moments, ideas for new works are born in my head in the form of symbols and visions, which I then try to express on canvas.

The second way of creating is intuitive work, which I create only with a specific intention.

How long does it take you to create a painting?

That varies a lot. Some paintings take a few days, others several months. It depends on the piece and the technique used. Oil paintings take a long time to dry — each layer needs at least a few days.

Are you creating anything else?

In addition to paintings, I also create other tools that can help someone. I wrote a book, create meditations and recordings, and I also embarked on the journey of a life coach.

What does the gold star next to some paintings mean?

This star marks paintings that were pivotal in my work — whether they were turning points in my career, carry an important message, or pushed my work to the next level.

Can I buy a reproduction?

Yes, that's possible for selected paintings, mainly the important ones or those priced above 10,000 CZK. Please send me a message and we'll work out the details together.

I offer reproductions in two forms: prints on fine art paper (Giclée, 40×50 cm or 50×70 cm) and prints on stretched canvas (Giclée, 40×50 cm, 50×70 cm, or 70×100 cm).

Both versions can be framed (black, white, or natural frame) or left unframed. The paper print arrives rolled in a tube; the canvas arrives without an outer frame.
